Elle Stevenson, Mergim Butaja and April Jackson weren't surprised by their triple firing on 'The Apprentice'.
All three hopefuls were sent packing by Lord Alan Sugar on last night's (11.11.15) episode of the show and they've revealed they'd all been expecting a mass exodus because of the amount of candidates left in the process.
Construction operations executive Elle exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "We'd all been coming back to the house for five weeks and we'd all been looking around every time two people came back from the bottom three and we were all saying, 'When's it going to happen? There's got to be two going at some point, or three'.
"We're not silly, we all knew there were 18 candidates and that's too many, there wasn't enough weeks so no, I wasn't surprised at all."
Sales account manager Mergim - who had a DIY disaster while attempting to assemble some shelves during the task - has confessed there was a moment after Elle got fired when he thought he might be safe.
He said: "Lord Sugar fired Elle and I thought, Oh gosh, what happens now? I was preying that that was it and that I'd get to go back to the house but obviously that wasn't the case and the pressure came onto me.
"Because there were so many candidates left in the process, you knew more than one or two people would have to go but you could probably argue that in previous episodes there should have been double firings. I think I was at the wrong place at the wrong time."
Meanwhile, former Miss Jamaica, boutique owner April Jackson - who was told by Lord Sugar that he should have fired her in the first week - has admitted she too saw it coming.
She explained: "I think if you do the maths, you could see that there was going to have to be quite a lot of firings sometime soon so it didn't surprise me that it was my turn."
'The Apprentice' continues next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
