Ant McPartlin is allegedly set to plead guilty to his drink driving charges in court on Monday (16.04.18) morning.
The 42-year-old presenter - who is best known as one half on hosting duo Ant and Dec - was arrested for driving under the influence on March 18 when he crashed his black Mini into two cars in Richmond, South West London, and it has now been claimed that he will plead guilty in his court hearing so that he can continue his treatment in rehab.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "His legal team got the court date delayed once because he had just entered rehab.
"But he knows he has to face the music. The plan at this stage is for him to plead guilty. He is obviously gutted about the whole thing and wants to focus on getting better.
"He has a lot to do to prove himself again. Hopefully this is the first step."
Ant's mother Christine was in the passenger seat of his car at the time of the crash, and four-year-old Amaira Dandekar, who was in one of the cars the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' host crashed into, was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The star previously had his case delayed for two weeks so that he could enter a rehabilitation facility.
The court said in a statement at the time: "An adjournment in this case has been agreed. Ant McPartlin will not be appearing at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. He will appear in court on Monday April 16."
Following the incident, Ant stepped back from hosting the final two episodes of 'Saturday Night Takeaway', which were instead hosted solo by pal and presenting partner Declan Donnelly, and it was recently revealed he will not be hosting the live finals of 'Britain's Got Talent', which will also be fronted by Dec.
Ant's admission into rehab comes after he underwent treatment for prescription drug and alcohol addiction last summer.
