Ant McPartlin is "grateful" his two stepdaughters call him "Dad".
The 'Britain's Got Talent' presenter married Anne-Marie Corbett on Saturday (07.08.21) and in his speech to guests at the reception - which was held at luxury hotel Heckfield Place in Hampshire - he paid tribute to the "perfect family" he's now got and thanked his new wife's teenage daughters, Poppy and Daisy, for being so welcoming to him.
Speaking of the girls - who were bridesmaids alongside others including best pal Declan Donnelly's daughter Isla - Ant gushed: "They are amazing girls and I’m grateful that they call me Dad."
In 2017, Ant checked into rehab for addictions to prescription medication and alcohol, and he joked about his troubles in his speech.
He kicked it off by saying: "Hi, I’m Ant and I’m an alcoholic."
He also paid tribute to his presenting partner and best man Dec, calling him the "best friend a man could have."
Wedding guest Phillip Schofield, who attended with wife Stephanie, said the big day had been "warm and beautiful".
He added of the ceremony, which took place at St Michael Church in the village of Heckfield: “It was amazing. Great fun, warm and beautiful.”
David Walliams also said: “Very romantic. They’ve a good sense of humour, they’re funny people.”
Other guests in attendance included 'Saturday Night Takeaway' star Stephen Mulhern, 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Alesha Dixon, Dermot O'Leary, Ant and Dec's former 'SM:TV' co-host Cat Deeley, and Frank and Christine Lampard.
As well as the reception being held at Heckfield Place, a luxurious Georgian mansion, it has been reported that the 45-year-old groom is paying for their guests' two-night stay at the £1,000-a-night venue and even asked for their spa bills to be charged to his account.
'I'm A Celeb...' co-host Ant proposed to Anne-Marie - who he was first linked to in March 2018 - at home on Christmas Eve 2020.
The engagement came three years after the Geordie funnyman split from his wife of 12 years, make-up artist Lisa Armstrong.
