Ant and Dec are making a new quiz show.
The popular duo are developing a pilot for an ITV programme that will involve celebrity contestants through their production company Mitre as it could air next year.
However, it is unlikely that the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here' hosts will end up presenting the unnamed show.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: "Whether they're in front of the camera or behind it, Ant and Dec are still viewed as a duo who have the Midas touch when it comes to making telly.
"Their win at the NTAs and the fact they're off to the jungle for the 22nd series shows how popular their programmes still are.
"So their new project is likely to be much-anticipated by ITV bosses.
"The only disappointment will be that they aren't working on the basis that they'll be the presenters.
"But they're already incredibly busy with their other projects they're already the face of."
Ant and Dec picked up their 21st consecutive Best Presenter trophy at the National Television Awards earlier this month but missed out on the ceremony at Wembley Arena as they were ill with coronavirus.
A source said at the time: “Ant and Dec are gutted. They love the NTAs, it’s the best night in TV, and for them it’s an event they always look forward to.
“They’re both feeling really poorly but will be watching the show from bed and hope to be well and working again soon.”
A spokesperson for the pair said: “After both feeling unwell Ant and Dec have tested for Covid and unfortunately have both tested positive. The duo will be postponing work commitments whilst they recover.”
