Ant and Dec have enlisted a host of their famous pals to recreate 'Ghostbusters' for a segment of 'Saturday Night Takeaway'.
The pair will be joined by the likes of singer Will Young, former footballer Wayne Bridge, TV presenter Melinda Messenger and 'First Dates' star Fred Sirieix in the mini-series, which will run throughout the forthcoming ITV series.
A TV source said: "Every year Ant and Dec worry about how they can make each series better than the last but this time around they think they have cracked it.
"So many good names have signed up for cameos. When you get the call it’s not like you would say no."
It's not the first time the pair have invited famous friends to star in a mini-series on 'Takeaway'.
In 2017, Ant and Dec starred alongside Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton, 'Harry Potter' star Warwick Davis, singer Craig David, and 'Britain's Got Talent' judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden in comical tale 'Who Shot Simon Cowell', which told how the music mogul had been shot at his birthday party.
The source added to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Building on the success of their whodunnits 'Who Shot Simon Cowell' and 'Who Stole the Crown Jewels', this time around it’s based on 'Ghostbusters'.
"Obviously the boys aren’t shy when it comes to dressing up and with this latest one they have been having a lot of fun with the costumes."
The 18th series of 'Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway' is expected to launch in a month.
