Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have confirmed the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ spin-off series is to shoot in South Africa.
The presenting duo, both 46, shared a video from South Africa, where they are making the pre-recorded 'All-Stars' show with some of the original ITV show's best loved contestants, ahead of a 2023 broadcast.
The ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ hosts are filming in Kruger National Park, the scenic backdrop of the Australian edition of the ITV hit reality show, which sees stars rough it out in a bare bones camp and compete in tough challenges to get access to better food and resources.
Dec said in the video: "We can confirm we're doing a very special series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in South Africa. Look at this joint."
Ant quipped: "Nobody told me,” before saying: “We’re here, aren’t we?”
Dec continued: "It's going to be your favourite celebrities from the last 20 years who are going back in to do it one more time in South Africa."
The Geordie due also teased the debut date of this year’s main 'I'm A Celebrity' run, which is returning Down Under after two years in North Wales’ Gwrych Castle, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ant asked his long-running co-star: "But are we going to Australia, Declan?"
Dec replied: "Yes we are. This year we are going back. Normal Australia 2022 and South Africa 2023."
They also wrote on Instagram: "South Africaaaaaaa! That's right, we're filming a very special version of I'm A Celebrity in South Africa which is coming to your tellies in 2023.
