Ant and Dec secretly auditioned for this year's 'Britain's Got Talent' while wearing dog outfits.
The show's hosts and 'Britain's Got More Talent' presenter Stephen Mulhern wore canine costumes as part of a DJ act in what was thought to be the final audition of the series, and at the end of the try out they stripped off their animal attire to reveal their identities to judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
A show source told The Sun newspaper: "It was one of the moments of the day.
"Everyone was spent having watched loads of auditions but Ant and Dec thought it would be a good way to finish things off."
The trio were said to have had the doggy disguises specially made for the audition.
The source added: "The boys and Stephen had dog outfits made especially and performed a DJ set which went down a treat with the crowd despite no one having a clue who they were.
"The judges were in stitches when they stripped off at the end."
Ant returned to 'BGT' this year after taking time out of the spotlight in 2018 to seek help for addiction following a drink-driving conviction.
The 43-year-old TV presenter felt overwhelmed by the positive fan reaction as he reunited with Dec on the programme.
He recently said: "Wow, it was so emotional for me.
"I don't think either of us were quite prepared for that. We didn't expect that level of goodwill and love. It was a very emotional day for me."
