The presenting duo are auctioning off a prestigious award each to help raise funds for Chris Evans' fundraiser Scrubs Glorious Scrubs, which aims to provide scrubs for healthcare workers across the nation.

Sharing a snap of each of them holding an NTA on Instagram, they captioned the post: "Brilliant idea Chris Evans... NHS fundraising for Scrubs Glorious Scrubs.

"We are donating an NTA each! Go to the website bidinauction.com to register. Good luck and thank you #nhs @FrothyCoffeeMan."

Ant and Dec have won the gong for Best TV Presenter for their work on 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'Saturday Night Takeaway' 19 times in a row, most recently taking home the prize in January.

The two awards are currently up for up for sale with the latest bids for the two accolades reaching £3,000 and £2,900, as well as a total of £203,254 raised from generous donations.

A statement from the website reads: "We've been lucky enough to win a few of these over the years. We love the NTAs and are very proud of our multiple wins but we really hope we can raise a shedload of money for Scrub Hubs by auctioning off our TV Presenter Awards.

"As a double act, we are lucky enough to receive one each at the NTA's. Top two auction winners will each receive ONE National Television Award each per auction lot."

The presenters are the latest amongst several celebrities to donate their prized possessions to help raise funds for the NHS.

Comedian Dawn French has donated an array of lots, including a French & Saunders tour jacket and a Cornish pasty pin from the series 'Delicious'.

'Gavin and Stacey' star Rob Brydon has donated a signed box-set of the beloved show among other items, while one of Matt Lucas's offerings is described as a limited edition 'Rude map of Little Britain'.
