Ant and Dec have yet to sign a new contract with ITV.
It was claimed last month the presenting duo had inked a new deal with the network, but 44-year-old Declan Donnelly insisted nothing is in place yet and they are still "in talks" for the agreement, which is expected to tun for three years and be worth around £40 million.
Dec said: "We are in talks, it will be for a few more years but nothing is signed yet. Not yet.
"We are hoping to get it signed before we start 'Takeaway'."
But the pair don't seem to have any concerns about continuing their work with the broadcaster.
Ant McPartlin added: "You know we love working with ITV, they have been great supporters of us, so it will happen.
"We can't wait for 'Takeaway' to come back, we have really missed making it. We are already doing stuff for it at the moment so with that and 'Britain's Got Talent' we are very busy."
The pair won the Presenter honour at the National Television Awards (NTAs) for a 19th year in a row earlier this week and admitted they feel more grateful for the public votes than ever, especially following Ant's stint out of the spotlight to get sober.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "As you get older, the more grateful you are because it is voted for by the viewers. We have been around for so long and you know we are still up there and they are still voting for us, so we are very thankful.
"Yeah, we've had a couple of difficult years. We have had ups and downs and they have stuck with us and viewers are still voting for us, and for that we are eternally grateful."
