Ann Widdecombe is returning to 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 71-year-old former politician's "hapless" routines with Anton DuBeke in the 2010 show made her a hit with viewers and she's set to provide light relief on the Latin and ballroom show's upcoming festive special when she takes to the dancefloor once again.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Ann has always been one of 'Strictly's most memorable and hilarious contenders.
"Her endearingly hapless moves had the nation falling in love with her back when she was on the show with Anton and they boosted viewing figures by a mile.
"The Christmas special is always a light-hearted, fun episode and so it was a no-brainer to get Ann on board to add to the comedy of it.
"Ann has promised she's going to be back to her best and producers are hoping she will provide her most entertaining routine yet in the one episode."
Ann will be competing against Caroline Flack - who was partnered with Pasha Kovalev when she won the show in 2014 - on the special epsiode.
The 'Love Island' presenter is set to be dancer Neil Jones' first ever celebrity partner on the Christmas Day (25.12.18) programme.
The red-haired professional is a favourite with fans in the group routines and producers reportedly wanted to bring him into the spotlight because of his "dignified" behaviour in the wake of his wife Katya Jones' kiss with her 'Strictly' partner Seann Walsh.
A source said recently: "Caroline jumped at the chance. She expected to be paired up with pro dancer Pasha Kovalev again.
"But 'Strictly' bosses were inundated with requests for Neil to finally get a celebrity dance partner.
"It's their way of showing Neil they support him and are grateful for the dignified way he handled the situation with Seann and Katya.
"Neil hopes this is the next step to being paired up with a celeb next year on the main series of the show."
