It's almost time for The Walking Dead's big midseason finale, and if tradition is anything to go by with this show, there's going to be some huge cliffhangers that audiences will be left with, pining for answers over the festive season.
Speaking to The Wrap, actor Andrew Lincoln has said that this year's season 6 midseason finale will include blood: "The walls come down. And it's going to be bananas."
He also spoke about his excitement for the rest of the season, adding: "I will say episodes eight through 16 - I'm more excited than I've ever been before, just where the story is headed. Eight and nine are unbelievable. Unbelievable. They're some of the best episodes I've read and when I was filming, it just got bigger and more epic and more insane every day that we shot."
Lincoln mentioned that this season's finale would also be "extraordinary".
"We just wrapped 24 hours ago on what I think is the darkest and most extraordinary season finale that we've ever attempted. To say that I'm excited would be a vast understatement. And it ends with a very big bang."
The show's big midseason finale aired last night in the US on AMC, and comes to the UK tonight (November 30) at 9pm on FOX.
