The 25-year-old cruise ship performer - who was booted out of the ITV2 dating show two weeks ago, along with then-partner Hugo Hammond, who dumped her as soon as they left the villa - has revealed the lengthy process of choosing whether or not to stay a couple with the same person takes so long, her feet would be "on fire" from standing so long her heels.

The Islanders are told to take each re-coupling "very seriously", but she revealed there are some goats nearby that make loud noises and it's hard for them not to burst into fits of giggles.

She told The Sun's About Last Night: "It's about a couple of hours just because they have to make sure that everything is captured and everyone knows who they are going to go for.

"I would literally be stood there in my heels and my feet would be on fire – and you'll literally hear the goats in the background!

"There will be dead silence and they'll say, 'please be serious' as you have to take it very seriously and then you'll get [a goat noise] in the background."

Amy also revealed the speeches are written by the contestants, with Amy hailing Faye Winter - who is coupled with Teddy Soares - for nailing her's every time.

She added: "I think Faye is brilliant with words.

"Her speech was always bang on. She said she never went over it, or thought about what she was going to say, so hats off to Faye."

Meanwhile, Amy and Hugo recently clashed in a furious row on 'Love Island: Aftersun'.

The former couple reunited for a pre-recorded post-villa date, where Amy blasted Hugo for dumping her as soon as they exited the show.

She said: "It's the Hugo show, that's all it is. I think we need to clear up a few things because I feel like I had my time wasted a little bit, staying with you.

"I thought there was something there. We leave the villa, and you just flipped and friend-zoned me. You've come across quite fake now."

Hugo replied: "I completely disagree with you on that front,' with Amy quipping: "Course you do."

Hugo went on: "We had the chat in there about how we had come to a cross road on our journey and I think that was clear to both of us but apparently not."

A confused Amy responded: "I wasn't part of that conversation. That was massively lost in communication. I never had a conversation with you where it was, 'we would go this way or we would go this way'. It was, ''let's stop having the pressure on us'."

When Hugo started laughing, she fumed: "You're so patronising. Why are you laughing? This isn't funny."

The pair then clashed on 'Aftersun', with Amy saying: "I think Hugo is just awful with women... to sum it up, Hugo says that he wants to stay true to himself, can you not be true to everyone else at the same time?"

Asked if she had made a mistake by coupling up with him, she said: "One hundred and ten per cent. I'm an idiot."

However, Hugo hit back, saying Amy had used him as a "green card into the villa" from Casa Amor.
