Former 'Love Island' star Amber Davies has reportedly reconciled with her former boyfriend Nick Kyriacou.
The 24-year-old actress split from her operations manager ex six months after apparently telling friends he was “The One” but they have decided to give their relationship another go.
The reason for the break-up was that things got “too intense too fast” but they soon realised “they did love each other” so are taking things “slow” this time around and Amber even took Nick to visit her family over the weekend.
A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Things got way too intense too fast, and lockdown amplified everything.
"But when they were apart it made them realise how much they did love each other.
"Now, they're taking it slow.
“Amber is keeping Nick off social media, but it's not a secret to their friends and family - he went with her to visit her family this weekend."
In an Instagram Q&A earlier this year, Amber - who along with her then partner Kem Cetinay won the 2017 series of 'Love Island' - opened up about the separation from Nick to a fan.
Speaking in April, she said: "Nothing dramatic happened to cause it.
"Life is too short to be anything but the best version of yourself.
"Also, I feel like break ups are always looked at like a bad/sad time but honestly ... Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.
"When two people come together it's amazing yes, but also tough.
"You have to adapt and compromise and something you just have to accept it's not meant to be.
"It only hurts if you allow it to hurt.
"Everything in life is a lesson, good and bad.
"Take your life lessons and move forward."
Since winning 'Love Island', Amber bagged a part in Dolly Parton's musical ‘9 To 5’ on London's West End.
She was then cast in another stage show ‘Bring It On’, and also hired for CBBC comedy drama ‘Almost Never’, alongside Pussycat Dolls' Kimberly Wyatt and JLS singer Aston Merrygold.
