Amanda Holden's husband has "killed" Valentines Day.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge has revealed she's been put off the idea of celebrating the romantic occasion by her husband Chris Hughes' laid back attitude.
Asked if she had any plans for the big day on Saturday (14.02.15), she told BANG Showbiz at the London auditions of 'Britain's Got Talent' at the Dominion Theatre: "Oh my God, my husband actually very romantically said to me, 'Oh, do I have to get you something on Saturday?'
"I was like, 'Yes, but now you've asked me that's killing it!' "
The 43-year-old beauty - who has daughters Alexa and Hollie with Chris - also spoke about the "great talent" she's seen at auditions for the ITV talent show across the country so far and claimed she's glad some singers choose 'BGT' over 'The X Factor'.
Quizzed on whether she thinks wannabe popstars should choose to go on other shows, she said: "No, because I think you stand more of a chance on 'Britain's Got Talent' if you're a singer. So we get an awful lot of brilliant singers who are too scared to go on 'The Voice' or 'The X Factor' because they're scared they might get lost, but on our show it's much more of a showcase for them."
However, Amanda doesn't want to see 'The X Factor' open its doors to a wider range of talents, as she fears it'd mark the end of 'BGT'.
She added: "I just don't want any juggling or motorcycle acts going on 'The X Factor' because that would just kill it."
