The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge said that while she is always up for a laugh, she does chat a lot.

She said: "I think I'd want to be friends with me. But I'd also find myself incredibly annoying because doing things and I never stop talking. I try to find the light in everything or find a joke. I'm a big fan of laughter."

However, despite being critical of herself, the 50-year-old actress was also keen to make the point that it is important to take things easy.

She said: "Try to remember to stay friends with yourself and make sure you're a friend to yourself. Remember that you can't be all things to all people all the time. We all strive to be our best and our best version of ourselves. Give yourselves a break."

In terms of giving herself a break, Amanda admitted to finding an usually "therapeutic" hobby in lockdown in the form of cleaning out her new rabbit hutch.

She told HELLO! magazine: "I relax doing weird things, like cleaning out rabbit hutches. We bought rabbits in lockdown and no one else cleans them. I find that quite therapeutic."

It comes after recent admissions from the Heart Radio presenter that she is "not apologising for living" and going on holiday amid the coronavirus pandemic, and that she is "over" the restrictions.

She said: "People can be so weird about it [social distancing], but I'm literally licking people now. I just don't care anymore. I'm over it.

"I'm not apologising for living anymore. I want my life back. I keep hearing people going: 'I'm sorry, I'm so lucky to go on holiday.' I'm like, 'No! It's your right to be entertained, your right to go on holiday! God knows, the s**** that's been the last couple of years should teach us that life's too short to live cautiously."
