The 53-year-old TV star - who has Lexi, 18, as well as 12-year-old Hollie with her husband Chris Hughes - has stressed she is an advocate of "body positivity" and doesn’t mind seeing her eldest daughter post images of herself in swimwear.
Speaking to the MailOnline, she said: "Lexi did speak to me and her dad about this.
"She is 18 years old now, so I feel like she's confident and we have always encouraged body positivity in our house.
"I feel like if she's ready to do that then we're all for it. She knows what could happen from doing it, but I think she should be able to do what she wants, when she wants, and at 18 that's the correct time to do it.
"I wouldn't have encouraged it before, she posted a photo last year in a bikini when she was 17 but again, that's her choice. We are happy if she is happy."
Amanda recently put her money where her mouth was and stripped naked while live on Heart Radio.
After her co-host Jamie Theakston quizzed the 'Britain's Got Talent' judge on what her hobbies were, Amanda confessed she didn’t have any, but added she had previously posed in her birthday suit for a life drawing.
Jamie jokingly asked his co-presenter – who had just returned from a trip to the Maldives - if she would get her kit off to be drawn, to which she quickly agreed to and began removing her clothes.
The sun-kissed star quipped: "I'll say yes to anything when I'm tanned, within reason obviously!"
However, former 'Wild At Heart' actress Amanda later revealed she wasn't completely naked, because she didn’t want to alarm the men in the studio.
She explained: "There is no way I would get my full kit off with boys in the studio, but it was fun. I was wearing underwear, but this was our whole point, when I come back to Heart after being away, I always like to return with a bang. I did not know it was happening.
"Luckily, I have a good team of female producers who were armed and ready and they knew I would be up for it because I had a tan basically. So, I stripped off to my underwear.
"There is no way I would get everything out for any reason because you have to have some decency in life, although I don't judge anyone that does. I was perfectly happy to sit there and do it and it was so much fun.
"It was pretty alarming sitting in a studio with your pants on, but you do always feel better when you have a tan."
