Amanda Clapham has quit 'Hollyoaks'.
The 27-year-old actress is said to be set to bow out of her role as Holly Cunningham - who she has played for five years in the Channel 4 soap - in September to try to crack Hollywood.
An insider told The Sun Online: "Amanda's last scenes on the soap will be on TV in September.
"Amanda wants to explore other roles and would even move to America like other former 'Hollyoaks' cast members who've had success out there.
"She's loved every minute of being on the show but it's time to move on."
Amanda is said to be "sad" to depart the soap after appearing in some hard-hitting plots over the years, including Holly being raped by her boyfriend Nick Savage (Ben-Ryan Davies) and causing the death of Rachel Hardy (Jennifer Brooke).
The insider added: "She's sad to leave but knows it's the right time.
"She's had some huge storylines in her five years on the show, and has chosen to go out on a high."
In 2015, Amanda admitted she wished her 'Hollyoaks' alter-ego covered up a bit more because she often feels cold on set due to Holly's skimpy outfits.
She said: "Holly likes waist skirts and crop tops, so sometimes I wish I could wear more clothes when it's cold."
In heading to the US, Holly will follow in the footsteps of several other former 'Hollyoaks' stars, including Rachel Shenton (Mitzeee Minniver), who won an Oscar earlier this year for her short film 'The Silent Child'.
Nathalie Emmanuel has also tasted success abroad, starring as Missandei in hit HBO series 'Game of Thrones', while Ricky Whittle (Calvin Valentine) now stars in 'American Gods'.
