Alison Hammond wants to host the 'Big Brother' reboot.
The 47-year-old star appeared as a contestant on the Channel 4 reality show back in 2002 - during which she famously broke a table - and claimed that she would be a "good" candidate to host the rumoured remake, which is reportedly set to air on ITV in 2023.
Asked if she would make a good presenter on the show, she said: "I think so. They need to change it up a bit. We've got to put it out there to the universe. Let's make it happen!"
The original run of 'Big Brother' - which saw groups of strangers live together in a specially constructed house isolated from the outside world - aired from 2000 until 2018 and was fronted by the likes of Davina McCall, Emma Willis and Rylan Clark and although 'This Morning' star Alison made a career in television following her appearance on the show, admitted that these days she could never sign up for fellow reality juggernaut 'Love Island.'
Speaking on an upcoming episode of 'The Late-ish Show with Mo Gilligan', she said: "I couldn't! Honestly, there would be some serious fighting. I would be taken out of 'Love Island', wouldn't I?"
Alison was joined on the Channel 4 chat show by rap star Aitch, who joked that he could join a celebrity edition of the ITV2 dating show and would pair up with 'Juice' hitmaker Lizzo.
Alison replied: "She would have you for breakfast, lunch and dinner!"
Alison's episode of 'The Late-ish Show with Mo Gilligan' airs on Friday 3 June on Channel 4 at 10pm.
