'EastEnders' characters Alice Branning and Michael Moon will find themselves in bed together.
The brunette beauty - played by Jasmyn Banks - falls under the spell of the Walford love rat (Steve John Shepherd) and after numerous attempts to seduce him, the Albert Square bad boy eventually succumbs to her advances.
Jasmyn told SoapLife magazine: "Alice has a real thing for him. Michael blows hot and cold with her but she knows his nastiness comes from a place where he's hurting.
"Michael's taking out all of his frustrations on Alice and she accepts it because she knows he doesn't really mean it. I think he appreciates her quite a bit deep down."
However, Alice - whose night with Michael results in her losing her virginity - is left heartbroken when he ruins her plans for another intimate evening together by referring to her as a one night stand.
A tearful Alice then reveals what happened to Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), who previously mothered a child with Michael when she cheated on her then-husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), leading to more dramatic consequences.
The exciting storyline comes ahead of Steve's departure from his role after playing Michael for three years and the 39-year-old star says he was "privileged" to have had such a major role in the BBC soap.
He previously said: "I feel now is the time to move on. I have relished every minute of exploring his character - the good and the bad.
"I feel extremely privileged to have had this amazing experience and want to thank everybody - most importantly the fans of the show - for taking Michael and his numerous flaws into their hearts."
