Ali Bastian has given birth a baby girl.
The 'Hollyoaks' star welcomed her and David O'Mahony's first child into the world last week, and shared the happy news on Tuesday (17.03.20).
She wrote: "She's here! We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world last week - words cannot describe how much we love her already. We have climbed whole heartedly into the most beautiful of new parent bubbles and are enjoying some quiet family time. Mum and baby are doing brilliantly. More soon xxxx @davidcomahony (sic)"
David shared the same statement, but added the following hashtags onto it: "#NewParents #NewBorn #Parents (sic)"
Ali announced her pregnancy in October 2019 after a heartbreaking miscarriage on New Year's Eve.
She said: "We feel incredibly lucky. The moment I found out, I was so excited I could hardly speak."
Whilst David added: "It has been brilliant. We've always wanted children. It's amazing what Ali and Ali's body are doing. It's incredible."
Ali is suffering from severe morning sickness and is struggling to carry out basic tasks including making a cup of tea and she struggles to even go near the fridge.
She shared: "I can't even make a cup of tea or coffee for anyone as that makes me feel sick.
"And I couldn't go near a fridge or dishwasher. I can only go near a fridge now if I hold my breath."
The 38-year-old actress tragically lost a baby at the end of last year and admits it took "a whole" to process it all.
She explained: "It took a while to process it emotionally. I had been so excited - I'd wrapped up the pregnancy test and put it in the Christmas tree for David. I think I was a bit naive about how fragile it all was. I've now got to the point where I feel comfortable talking about it. So many people go through this, which is why we want to be open."
