Alfie Moon's 1982 Ford Capri is being put up for auction.
The iconic soap character, played by Shane Richie, is poised to return to Albert Square later this year, and Alfie's car is now set to go under the hammer.
Richard Greenhalgh, of Classic Car Auctions, said: "This 1982 Ford Capri 2.8 injection (ex-BBC 'EastEnders' car) is an early and rare four-speed combination, showing 62,300 miles.
"Its MOT history online goes back to 2006 but mileage unwarranted. It comes with a large history file. The car was purchased by our vendor in 2018 with its early four-speed gearbox, polished alloys, grey check interior, Jan Speed exhaust. It has been four years in its current ownership. MOT until July 2023 issued with no advisories."
The vehicle featured in 'EastEnders' between 2010 and 2016, and it has a guide price of £12,000 to £15,000.
Meanwhile, the BBC announced Alfie's return to 'EastEnders' earlier this month.
The broadcaster confirmed that Shane Richie will reprise his most iconic on-screen character, having first appeared on the soap in 2002.
Shane said at the time: "It's an absolute honour and privilege to be asked back to my TV home of Albert Square. I’m looking forward to catching up with some old cast mates and meeting some new ones.
"The new exec producer Chris Clenshaw has been instrumental in wanting to bring Alfie Moon back with some wonderful storylines … and who am I to say no?! I can't wait."
Chris is similarly excited about Alfie's return.
He explained: "Shane Richie created one of the most iconic, loveable and most memorable characters in soap, and to welcome him back to Walford is an absolute pleasure. A lot’s happened since Alfie’s been away from the Square but wherever his floral shirts go you can expect fun, frolics and, of course, the odd porky-pie. We’re over the moon to have him home."
