EastEnders' Alfie Moon will propose to Roxy Mitchell.
The Queen Vic boss - played by Shane Richie - leaves the blonde bombshell (Rita Simons) stunned after he gets down on one knee and pops the question to her following the arrival of his decree nisi, which declares that his marriage with his former fiery wife Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) is legally finished.
Roxy is thrilled after finding the legal document lying on the doormat and as the couple hold a romantic speed dating night at the pub, Roxy even asks Kat to lend a hand behind the bar. But as the night continues, Roxy becomes increasingly concerned as Alfie fails to mention that the divorce papers have come through.
Later that week, Roxy arranges a candle lit dinner for her beau and is relieved when he comes clean and vows to make her the new Mrs. Moon.
However, as Roxy's sister Ronnie Branning (Samantha Womack) - who snatched Kat and Alfie's baby two years ago - returns to Albert Square, Alfie begins to feel uncomfortable and finds himself confiding in his ex-wife.
Speaking to Soaplife magazine, Shane said: "We're going to start creating the Kat and Alfie phenomenon again, but there's a threesome now as opposed to just Kat and Alfie, you've now got Roxy.
"All of a sudden, Alfie's with her sister, and Ronnie is responsible for the whole baby swap thing - there's going to be a whole new dynamic."
