The 'Coronation Street' actress' boyfriend Joe Parker popped the question to the Emma Brooker star, and she is excited about becoming the "future Mrs Parker".
She wrote on Instagram: "Love locked down!! 1000000 times yes! You make me so happy, my face hurts! Love you ridiculously. Future Mrs Parker (sic)"
Alexandra - who has portrayed Emma since 2018 - shared several pictures of herself showing off her engagement ring, while being embraced by Joe.
Joe wrote on Instagram: "Went in to lockdown with a girlfriend, came out with a fiancée. What a lucky man I am. Can't wait to marry you @alexandramardell I love you (sic)"
Several of Alexandra's 'Corrie' co-stars past and present took to the photo-sharing site to congratulate her.
Lucy Fallon - who previously played Bethany Platt in the ITV soap - cried happy tears upon hearing the couple's happy news.
