Alex Jones sliced her finger open live on air.
The 43-year-old presenter gave herself a paper cut during 'The One Show' on Wednesday night (20.05.20), and dripped blood "everywhere".
She said: "I gave myself a paper cut, and I've just got blood everywhere.
"It's just a paper cut - but I haven't got a tissue."
However, no one was able to help her due to coronavirus social distancing guidelines, in which people have to stay two metres apart from each other.
'Watchdog' correspondent Matt Allwright, 50, explained co-presenter Alex Scott would have had to break strict government guidelines if they were to clean her up.
He said: "We can't help you."
Luckily, Alex found a tissue stuffed down the back of her sofa and began dabbing at her injury while she continued to read the next link.
She said: "Don't worry, it's fine. There's one here."
'The One Show' began socially distancing the cast after Alex and Patrick Kielty came under fire from viewers for being too close to each other in March.
A number of viewers took to social media to question why the pair were sitting so close together amid the coronavirus pandemic, and the presenters addressed the issue live on air.
Alex and Patrick moved further away from each other, and she said: "We are having a lot of emails about social distancing and the fact that we're quite close together.
"We hear you, and we've moved farther apart."
She also admitted it was "hard to break habits".
Alex added: "It's just hard to break habits, isn't it? That's what it is.
"We're so used to sitting, but yeah, you are absolutely right."
The presenting pair's move came after Piers Morgan and Ranvir Singh were forced to sit further apart on 'Good Morning Britain' as a precautionary measure following the coronavirus outbreak.
Piers said: "Ranvir, no offence, we're being separated here on health grounds.
"Ranvir said, 'I'll only co-host with him if you put up a metre-long barrier.' "
He also revealed the show was down to a skeleton crew of around eight people.
