Dr Alex George wants another series of the controversial Channel 4 show ‘Naked Education’

The former ‘Love Island’ contestant, 32, joined ‘Naked Attraction’ host Anna Richardson, 52, and presenter Yinki Bokinni, 34, for the six-part show that racked up more than 1,200 complaints to broadcast regulator Ofcom by April after it showed strangers stripped in front of teenagers.

Dr Alex said on his ‘Stompcast’ podcast: “I’d absolutely do a series two. What we did was fantastic. I think it’s been really helpful.

“I think ask this question in 10, 15 years time, would there be a negative reaction? I think society will have moved on so much by that point. People who are angry will go and be angry about something else.”

But his co-presenter on the Channel 4 show Anna said she feared the series could be looked at negatively in future.

She added: “I could equally throw that question back out there and say I did this 15 years ago and it was far more acceptable then than it has been now.

“So I dread to think in 15 years time if we did it again.”

Anna’s long-running Channel 4 dating show ‘Naked Attraction’ is returning for an eighth series in 2024.

The first episode of ‘Naked Education’, which aired on 4 April, racked up 930 complaints from angry viewers and rose to over 1,200.

Despite the backlash, Anna, has defended the educational series as she said it is good for body positivity.

She told TV Mag: “‘Naked Education’ is a body positive, educational series that is basically aiming to normalise all body types and champion everybody’s differences, so that we can accept that with our clothes off we’re all normal.

“I like to make shows that are controversial, that break taboos and that make a difference, and with every single show that I’ve done you can tick one of those boxes.

“‘Naked Education’ is sort of one step further than ‘Naked Attraction’, as it says: ‘Let’s normalise bodies, let’s have the conversation about what we go through and let’s actually educate the nation.’”
