Alesha Dixon laughs so much on 'Britain's Got Talent' her face and throat start hurting.

The 34-year-old star - who is a judge on the ITV show alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden - admits the camaraderie between the four panellists works "unexpectedly" well, so much so she can't stop chuckling on the programme.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I do nothing but laugh on the show and you couldn't ask for anything better from a job.

"My face really does hurt from all the laughing. My throat hurts from laughing so much as well.

"It's an honour to be part of the show. It's one of the best series on television.

"The balance on the show is right. It just sort of works. Unexpectedly in a weird way, it's fantastic."

While Alesha insists 'BGT' is already at the top of its game, she is looking forward to "pushing the boundaries" further if she is asked back for the next series.

She added: "There's a natural chemistry between the four of us, we are all very comfortable around each other.

"I'm not sure if it's a question about whether the show can get better but the more we are around each other then the more comfortable we are and the more we can push the boundaries with one another.

"It's like being back at school. The boys ganging up on the girls, the childish banter and the winds up and pranks that are played will just continue.

"The more comfortable David gets around Simon the more he'll just keep pushing and pushing."
