Alesha Dixon says being a judge on 'Britain's Got Talent' is "really easy" compared to hosting 'Your Face Sounds Familiar'.
The 34-year-old star - who co-presents the singing show with Paddy McGuinness - loves the added pressure that comes with fronting a live programme compared to giving her opinions on talent, and admits she has a "newfound respect" for 'BGT' hosts Ant and Dec since taking on the role.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "When you're sitting there as a judge it's really easy, put it that way. But when you're there as the host of the show then you've got to be on time and you've got producers screaming in your ear.
"It's a bit more of a responsibility and a little bit more pressure but I enjoy it and I thrive off the adrenaline and the excitement of the night.
"It's such a fast-paced show but it's been great. Working with Paddy has been great, he's such a great guy. It's just harmless fun, old fashioned Saturday night TV.
"It's been really nice being on the other side as well, I've got a newfound respect for Ant and Dec."
Alesha is currently expecting her first child with dancer Azuka Ononye, and while she is remaining tight-lipped about her pregnancy, she can't wait to be a mum for the first time and is determined to keep working hard.
She said: "I'm delighted and really looking forward to the baby's arrival. In the meanwhile I'm still working hard and very excited to be here today to help Thomson Airways celebrate its own new arrival - the Thomson Dreamliner!"
Alesha joined the Thomson Airways team to surprise passengers on the inaugural long haul flight of its 787 Dreamliner.
