Alan Halsall has poked fun at his own relationship's age gap.
The 'Coronation Street' star - who has played mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap since 1998 - shared a picture of himself trying out a beauty regime which involved putting what appeared to be anti-wrinkle patches under his eyes.
And the 37-year-old cobbles favourite joked he needs to resort to such measures because his girlfriend, former 'Corrie' actress Tisha Merry (Steph Britton), is 10 years younger than him.
He wrote on his Instagram Stories: "The s**t ya have to do when your girlfriends 10 years younger than you!! @missdrewmerry93 (sic)"
Alan and Tisha went public with their romance in May at his co-star Sam Aston (Chesney Brown) and Briony Aston's wedding, and the pair's friends were relieved they no longer had to keep their romance a secret.
One of Tisha's pals posted a picture of the couple and admitted she was pleased she would "no longer get b*****ed" for sharing the image, and said it made her "eyes leak" seeing her friend "so happy".
The couple had both shared the same image of themselves embracing in the sunshine at Sam and Briony's wedding.
Alan captioned the picture: "Congratulations Mr & Mrs Aston
What a wonderful day, we're so proud to be part of it (sic)"
Tisha simply wrote a yellow heart emoji as her caption, and Alan posted in the comments: "You're not a bad + 1 I suppose (sic)"
In February, Alan shared a picture of himself and Tisha but the pair played down romance rumours at the time.
He wrote: "Day out at the rugby"
Alan and former 'Corrie' co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson (Katy Harris) split last year after nine years of marriage.
The former couple have six-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae together.
