Alan Carr has repeatedly rejected the chance to appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The 44-year-old comedian turned down the chance to take part in the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition but is now considering taking up the offer after watching Bill Bailey lift the Glitterball trophy last year.
He told Radio Times: "I’m a big fan of Bill Bailey anyway, and I was like, ‘He’s funny and talented.’ They always ask me to do 'Strictly' and I say no because I want to be sexy doing the Argentine tango; I don’t want to be a joke."
Alan has one request before committing himself to the show, revealing he wants to be treated like an "artiste" and not the competition's joke contestant.
He said: "Well you lose weight doing it. I want to be treated as a serious artiste if I do. There’d be no mucking about. I’d be hot to trot, like Fred Astaire."
Bill, 56, was widely seen as a novelty act prior to the series in 2020 - but he surprised everyone at home and head judge Shirley Ballas, who thought he would follow in the footsteps of Ed Balls in 2016.
She said: "I turned to Craig (Revel Horwood) and said, ‘He’s going to be our Ed Balls and the series is going to be a lot of fun’ and then he danced.
"He was rotating his hips, he was giving it some stick. And I thought, ‘Oh my Lord he is not only funny, he’s going to really give this a go. I wasn’t expecting that. “I was like, ‘That is actually amazing’. I assumed Bill would be quite stiff and uncomfortable.
"Some people look like they’re stuck in concrete. He looked like he could go. I’m interested to see him."
