Adam Woodyatt says his 'EastEnders' co-star Jake Wood encourages him to get active.
The Ian Beale actor recently shed some pounds, and the 52-year-old star has credited Jake (Max Branning) with helping him to "get out there", and the pair have been on bike rides together.
Speaking on his Instagram Stories, he said: "Like my mate Mr Wood says, 'You got to get out there. You got to do it.'
"He goes running - I go cycling."
Adam recently did an impromptu mini workout when he went to Scarborough with his pal Paul Chuckle.
He ran up numerous steps, while the comedian took a tram instead.
Adam said at the time: "Chuckle took the tram and I ran up the steps.
"There was a few of them"
But Paul joked he regretted not taking the steps because the tram was so hot.
He wrote: "I should have joined you it was roasting in the tram (sic)"
Adam also likes to tell followers about some of his cooking successes or "disasters" via Instagram, and recently revealed one of his triumphs, a steak sandwich, which he ate after a bike ride.
He posted: "Lunchtime bike ride and then a steak sandwich with truffled mushrooms, blue cheese mayo and crispy onion.
#DisasterChef #MasterChef (sic)"
Last month, it was revealed Adam and Beverley Sharp, his wife of 22 years, had gone their separate ways.
Adam's spokesperson said: "Beverley and Adam separated in August last year and we ask that the family's privacy is respected."
The former couple have children Jessica, 27, and Samuel, 23, together.
