Adam Woodyatt doesn't "miss" playing Ian Beale.
The 52-year-old actor played the bumbling businessman on 'EastEnders' since 1985 but is currently on hiatus from the iconic role, and Adam has admitted that the 'EastEnders' team would have to come up with a decent storyline and ask him to return for him to consider making a comeback.
Appearing on Channel 4's 'Sunday Brunch' the TV legend said when asked if he'll reprise his role on the BBC One soap: "I don’t know. It’s not just my decision to make, it’s also 'EastEnders'. I left because of the way the storyline was going, because Ian needed to go.
"Not me going, 'I wanna leave', or them saying, 'You’re going!' that was the storyline."
The 2021 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestant insisted he's been having a "fantastic time" since leaving the long-running show.
As well as a stint in the 'I'm A Celeb...' castle in North Wales, Adam had travelled around the UK in a caravan, and he's set to star in the theatre production 'Looking Good Dead'.
He said: "No, because I'm having the time of my life! I'm having a fantastic time!
"They've got to come up with a storyline, they've got to ask me to go back, the timing has got to be right for me to go back because I don't know what else I'm going to be doing."
Adam previously said he was "having a ball" on his break from the soap.
He said: "I am loving my break, I’m having a ball."
