Adam Woodyatt has hit out at an imposter who is pretending to be him on Instagram.
The 'EastEnders' actor has been inundated with messages from concerned fans who have outed the fake account, and the Ian Beale actor has urged his followers to "report and block" the impersonator.
The 52-year-old star wrote on Instagram: "I’m getting lots of messages telling me that someone is trying to message and follow people from an account claiming to be my private account. Please report and block anyone contacting you like this."
Adam - who has played councillor Ian since the BBC One soap's first episode in February 1985 - assured fans he only has one Instagram account, which has a blue tick next to his name.
He added: "This is my only Instagram account. It has a blue tick."
This comes just weeks after Adam's co-star Jake Wood (Max Branning) had his Instagram account hacked and deleted.
But it was then restored and hackers deleted his pictures and started posting some of their own.
Jake alerted his fans via Twitter that his account had been hacked and deleted, writing: "Just to let you all know that my @instagram account @mrjakewood was hacked and then deleted last night and this Twitter account was hacked and I was frozen out. Just got this back. Working on getting my Insta back (sic)"
He later admitted he hadn't got his account back after six days.
The 48-year-old star wrote: "So @instagram update. My account mrjakewood is still hacked after 6 days and I’m still trying to get it resolved (sic)"
But just two days later, he told fans he had got his account back and was gradually adding his own pictures again.
He wrote: "Rebuilding this account one photo at a time (sic)"
And Jake celebrated the return of his account by sharing a video of himself sledging down a hill following the recent snowfall.
He wrote: "Getting my Instagram account back from the hackers feels like this!! Good to be back people (sic)"
