Adam Thomas says the stars of ‘Don't Rock the Boat’ clashed during filming.
The 32-year-old actor was part of a star-studded cast who had to row 500 miles from Cornwall to Scotland for the new ITV series, and he admitted spending time on the water with so many different personalities led to “rocky times”.
He said: “That boat definitely got rocked. We all had ups and downs. When you have a mix of celebrities from different walks of life such as Olympians, actors, and models, there will be clashes.
“We all had different mindsets about how to approach the show. Some did it for personal reasons, others wanted to get fit, and others were desperate to win.
“It was inevitable there would be rocky times but in the end it made us stronger.”
The former ‘Emmerdale’ hunk also revealed the stars of the show were unprepared for the bouts of seasickness they faced.
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column as saying: “One time I had Fleur East sat on a bucket having a wee, and then I would throw up in it later.”
‘Don’t Rock the Boat’ will see 12 celebrities - split into two teams of six - battle it out to complete 500, gruelling miles, from Cornwall to northern Scotland, and they also take part in on-shore challenges to try to gain vital advantages.
As well as Adam and former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' star Fleur, model Jodie Kidd, former 'Coronation Street' actress Lucy Fallon, and Olympian Denise Lewis are also part of the show.
The series begins on Monday (02.11.20) on ITV at 9pm, and continues nightly until Friday (06.11.20).
