Adam Brody has been confirmed as the lead on a brand new pilot from former Modern Family producer Dan O'Shannon, in a show coming to CBS.
Currently untitled, the multi-camera comedy follows a trio of friends at three pivotal stages in their lives, from adolescence to middle-age.
Adam will step into the show to play 40-year-old optimist Andrew it has been reported by Deadline, a character who's been unlucky in his life so far but with a strong belief in happy endings, reaffirmed when he sees childhood crush Holly again.
Previously cast for the show were Kelly O'Sullivan and Tyler Labine.
The pilot is written by O'Shannon alongside Peter Warren, with O'Shannon also executive producing with Clark Peterson, Dennis Erdman, Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum.
