Abi Alton was eliminated from 'The X Factor' last night.
The quirky singer was sent packing from the ITV singing competition following a sing-off with Hannah Barrett, who is also part of Nicole Scherzinger's Girls category, during the weekly results show.
Abi performed Ed Sheeran's stripped-back hit 'Lego House' for the judges after scoring poorly in the public vote, while Hannah, 17, took on Miley Cyrus' power ballad 'Wrecking Ball'.
Due to an emotional Nicole refusing to choose between her two acts, Abi was sent home when both Gary Barlow and Sharon Osbourne voted for the 19-year-old student.
A tearful Abi told host Dermot O'Leary: "I never in a million and one years anticipated that I would get this far. I've had the time of my life and I've met the most amazing people. I would never change it so thank you.
"Obviously I'm gutted but I'm so thankful for this experience. I can't put it into to words. It's been amazing."
This week's results show saw live performances from Celine Dion and Robbie Williams, while the contestant came together for a group rendition of John Newman's 'Love Me Again' at the start of the programme.
