Aaron Paul has said he could appear in Better Call Saul as Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman "one day".
Rumoured to be reprising his role in the debut season, the actor later denied that this was the case.
Speaking this week to Variety however, Paul admitted that the door remains open for him to branch out and appear in the series.
"We always have fun having that discussion - Vince [Gilligan], myself, Peter [Gould], the writers," he said.
"We just have no idea how that would happen. But hopefully one day."
He was also questioned if he liked the show from what he had seen so far.
"I love it. It's a little weird because it kind of looks like Breaking Bad.
"It has somewhat of a little bit different tone, but I know everyone involved, and I'm not involved in it at all and it's a little weird, a little sad, but it's great."
Meanwhile, his co-star Bryan Cranston has taken part in Better Call Saul, directing a forthcoming episode.
Better Call Saul airs Mondays in America at 10pm ET, following on Tuesdays in the UK on Netflix.
