Nominations for FOX's annual ceremony were announced today, with the popular US TV show earning six nods.
Vamprie Diaries eyecandy Ian Somerhardler is up for Choice Actor in a Sci-Fi show, while his co-star and real-life girlfriend Nina Dobrev will compete in the female equivalent.
Nina's competition is from another bloodsucking series, as Anna Paquin from 'True Blood' has also been named in the category.
'American Idol' has been awarded with five impressive nominations.
Judge Jennifer Lopez has been recognised in the Choice TV Female Personality section. She is up against fellow reality show starts including Christina Aguilera, Tyra Banks and Jessica Simpson.
Steven Tyler is in the running for Choice TV Male Personality, while American Idol also appears in the Choice Tv Reality Competition Show section.
Teen idol Justin Bieber has also received five nominations, including Choice Male Artist, Fashion Icon, Choice Single and Male Artist.
Justin joins Ryan Gosling, Liam Hemsworth, Robert Pattinson and Ian Somerhardler in the Choice Male section.
Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Kate Upton have been named in the Choice Female Hottie category.
The Hunger Games also did well with Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence both picking up nominations for their performances.
The blockbuster will battle it out against The Avengers, Mirror, Mirror, Wrath of the Titans and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn ' Part 1, to be named Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
Fans aged between 13 and 19 can vote for once each day per category on the official Teen Choice Awards website.
