Glee Cast Lands Presidential Honour
Hit TV musical Glee has been given the presidential seal of approval - the cast has reportedly been asked to perform at the White House for U.S. President Barack Obama.
First Lady Michelle Obama is said to have invited the stars of the series to perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on 5 April (10), after learning the couple's two daughters are big fans of the programme.
TV bosses have rejigged the show's production schedule in a bid to accommodate the request, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Kiefer Sutherland Ready To Return To 24
Kiefer Sutherland will resume filming on hit TV show 24 on Monday (01Mar10) after undergoing minor surgery.
Shooting on the ninth series of the action drama ground to a halt earlier this month (Feb10) to allow the actor time out to treat a ruptured cyst near his kidney.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Sutherland went under the knife last Tuesday (16Feb10) but he has been cleared by doctors to return to work next week.
Chef Ramsay Slices Finger In Bloody TV Appearance
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is nursing an injured finger after slicing off his nail during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' U.S. talk show .
The Brit, who fronts his reality cookery show Hell's Kitchen in the U.S. and U.K., was showing the comedienne-turned-TV presenter how to slice vegetables for a stir fry when his knife slipped, leaving him with blood dripping from the deep cut on his finger.
Laughing off the mishap, Ramsay said, "I wasn't concentrating. I haven't cut myself this big in 10 years! (I cut my finger) under the nail. I took the nail off."
The pre-recorded show aired in the U.S. on Tuesday (23Feb10).
