The BBC is set to confirm and announce the full list of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing contestants, although many of the names have already leaked out.
The first names to have been etched in to the title sequence were Tracey Beaker actress Dani Harmer and Daybreak presenter Richard Arnold, but plenty more names have been added today.
Westlife crooner Nicky Bryne, James Bond actor Colin Salmon and most impressively of all Girls Aloud star Kimberly Walsh have all been confirmed as being a part of the show’s latest series today.
Now joining this group are British Olympic heroes Victoria Pendleton, who spoke of her desire to appear on the show, and Louis Smith, who also competed in The X Factor four years ago.
Rumours are still rife about the remainder of the contestants, but former England cricket captain Michael Vaughn, ex-supermodel Jerry Hall, Eastenders actor Sid Owen and Fern Britton all highly expected to be confirmed.
The new series of the show launches this Saturday (September 15th) on BBC One.
