Jessica Simpson has warned fans not to expect any new music from her in the near future - because she's focusing all her efforts on turning her reality TV show The Price Of Beauty into a successful series.
The programme follows the singer/actress on her travels across the globe as she learns about local beauty regimes and glamour culture in different countries, documenting the ideologies of African tribeswomen and Japanese Geishas.
And Simpson, who stars in the show with her longtime hairstylist Ken Paves and pal Casey Cobb, is hoping VH1 network bosses give her the green light to proceed with a second series.
She tells MTV News, "Right now, I'm promoting this (show), and hopefully we'll be doing a season two and hopefully just travel more."
Simpson coyly reveals she's also working on a number of other TV projects, the content of which may come as a surprise to her fans: "I'm putting my hands in different things, trying to executive-produce some show ideas. I think people will be very shocked to see what might happen in my life next."
