The National Television Awards took place in London's O2 Arena yesterday, and saw some big names in the business take home the coveted awards that were up for grabs.
None bigger however than the Landmark Award, which praised Ant and Dec for their work in the industry - 25 years as a duo - "Neither of us would be here if it wasn't for each other", said Dec, and the pair shared an emotional moment on stage as well as taking a 'selfie', using the NTA audience as a backdrop.
Julie Hesmondhalgh attended after she bowed out of Coronation Street this week in her almost 17-year role as Hayley Cropper, and landed the Best Serial Drama Performance award, dragging David Neilson - who plays on-screen husband Roy Cropper - on stage with her to share in the glory as the audience applauded, tears in their eyes for one of the now-rare moments we'll see the duo together.
Shockingly, Broadchurch didn't manage to gain enough votes to take home either of the awards it was nominated for, up against strong competition in both Doctor Who and Sherlock.
Coronation Street snatched victory from the other soaps when it took Best Serial Drama home for the third year running, as both Emmerdale and Hollyoaks went away empty handed.
Other winners included Mrs Brown's Boys, Educating Yorkshire and Paul O' Grady: For The Love Of Dogs - all of which seemed stunned yet delighted to be crowned victorious.
