Celebrity Big Brother is in full swing and it seems more people than ever are chatting about the antics unfolding in the house.

With the third official eviction taking place last night (August 12) and Chloe Khan sent packing, we got to thinking about her relationship with Stephen Bear - perhaps one of the most irritating contestants the celebrity version of the show has ever seen.

But who can join him on our list of the most irritating celebrity contestants of all time? Here are those who instantly jump to mind…

Stephen Bear

As the freshest contestant in our mind, Bear is someone we'll talk about right away. He thinks he's being smart in his loud and annoying antics, taking on some of the big names in the house including Renee Graziano in order to get more television time. Even host Emma Willis has slammed Bear for his repeated attempts at grabbing the limelight during last night's live show, when he asked her over and over again to repeat the rules of a very simple game.

So far in the house, Bear has broken fixtures and fittings, attempted to ignite rows by lighting a fuse and then backing off and even had to be told to stop kicking off by a security guard. Whilst it was hilarious to see his complete demeanour change when the towering security stood over him, he is the very definition of 'irritating'. Good television for a short while, but not someone we would ever want to see win the show.

Katie Hopkins

She may have won over legions of more fans and finished in second place during her series, but Katie Hopkins was one of the biggest wind-ups the reality show has seen. She was nasty and prodding, fake when she had Diary Room sessions and, throughout most of the time in her show, the complete opposite of the persona she puts out into the public eye through her bigoted and ignorant columns.

Despite ALL of that, one thing we cannot say is that she didn't make good television. She really did and if the spin-off All Stars celeb series IS going to take place next year, she has to find her place in the house.

James Jordan

Smug, condescending and try-hard are just three words that have been used to describe James Jordan and the way in which he came across during CBB. Speaking to Gary Busey as if he were a child, he first built a friendship with the Hollywood star, but didn't take long to join the rest of the house in treating him like dirt. Though his behaviour and that of his bullish housemates likely secured Busey the win, it was horrible to watch.

Ken Morley

Ken is a vile person, or at least he was during the show. Whether or not he was acting up for the cameras and to be sent home as quickly as possible is anyone's guess, but some of the comments he made about Jews, women, the Irish and many other taboo topics had the public screaming for his head on a platter. Big Brother served that up when he was ejected from the house for repeatedly breaking the rules, and we couldn't have been more satisfied to see him go.

Stephanie Davis

Where do we begin? Her childish behaviour and disgusting house habits - leaving used razors lying around the house if Scotty T is to believed, along with her underwear and clothes? The way in which she took a task to the extreme to throw milk all over the house? Her terribly cringe relationship with Jeremy? Going into too much depth with Stephanie Davis is like trying to write a thesis on the meaning of life - you're stuck going in circles with no definitive outcome as to the reasons why certain things are or have happened the way they are/have.

Strangely, the show gave Stephanie a redemption arc during her final weeks in the house and she almost toppled Scotty T for the winner's title. Luckily for viewers, she took the same spot as Hopkins, landing in second place.

Lee Ryan

The most irritating thing about Lee was how he couldn't see he was leading multiple women on in the house, even after being verbally annihilated by them. His love triangle proved to be some compelling television and the house hunk who went into the show as a firm favourite came out branded a love-rat and sly sneak. Thankfully he seems to have turned his life round since the show and will certainly be hoping to put it all behind him.

Jo O'Meara

The less said about Jo's time in Celebrity Big Brother, the better. She was involved during the series' darkest days, when a huge race row made headlines across the world as Jo and a couple of fellow housemates including Jade Goody made Shilpa Shetty the target of their barbs and passive aggression. Her season of CBB will forever be known as the one that almost killed the show off completely and for that reason alone, Jo had to make the list.

Evander Holyfield

Evander was a boring homophobe who placed his bigotry in the words of the Bible - a Christian who doesn't realise preaching hate and intolerance rather than love and acceptance goes against a lot of what the religion they're standing for is really all about. He was immediately evicted and probably picked up a big fee for doing little to nothing in the house. Everyone had such high hopes for Evander, so it was sad to see him turn out to be such a bad housemate.

Winston McKenzie

Winston was the token bigot of a recent series who couldn't have been evicted from the house quickly enough. Deluded in his own abilities to earn friends and garner popularity, he was going into the house to win but was quickly shunned for his horrific views on things such as gay marriage and adoption. A man like this should never be given a fee to go on a reality show - but every pantomime needs a villain, right?

Celebrity Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
