Following the success of the original series Evermoor, a second series titled The Evermoor Chronicles was picked up for 20 episodes to serve as a continuation to the original.
September this year saw filming for the show come to an end, and we got the chance to chat to Jordan Loughran and Georgie Farmer of the show's cast to find out what's in store for viewers and their characters going ahead...
What should fans of the original Evermoor series expect from The Evermoor Chronicles?
Jordan: They should expect more magic, more mystery and a bit more romance as well.
Georgie: Yeah there's a lot more stories and mysteries to be told in the series and just more Evermoor craziness.
Where will we see each of your characters going in this series?
Jordan: So, with Sorsha at the end of the miniseries we found out that she had become a member of the Everines, so at the start of the series you see that she's trying to balance the duties she has to the Everine circle but also the affection that she has for Seb. So just her sort of trying to balance being a normal teenage girl with also being an Everine.
Georgie: Yeah, Jake goes on a journey with Ludo and starts to trust him a bit more. Then finally at the end of the series we see a bit more trust between Jake and Ludo.
So there's a growing friendship there then?
Georgie: Yeah and also a lot of craziness and adventures as well.
What is the chemistry like between everyone on set?
Jordan: Really good. Everyone gets on really well with each other and there's always a really nice fun atmosphere on set, which is always good. Everyone's excited to go to work and to tell more of the stories throughout the series. Yeah just to sort of hang out with each other. I think it's reaally nice that we did the pilot last year and then this year we get to come back again and see each other again and do it all again. Also we've got some new additions for the cast who are lovely. So it's just got bigger and better really.
Georgie: Yeah it's like a family which is just growing bigger. It's just one big Evermoor family.
Have there been any memorable moments on set from filming?
Georgie: Well there was a big mystery that went on, on set. The big question was, who were the pranksters? It started that it was me and Naomi. Literally we just arranged it all in the hotel room and then we kind of stopped, and then Sammy and Finney took over. Then there was another question like, who's the pranksters now? Then they were finally revealed. I guess that was the mystery.
Can you tell us a little bit then about the typical day on set, besides the pranks?
Jordan: So, wake up, get to set, hair and makeup, costume and then depending on what scenes you're in, you'll have a little of like rehearsal and rehearsal on camera, and you film it but it's always good fun.
Georgie: Yeah it's really.
What's it like working with Disney?
Georgie: Amazing. That's one word. No it's just such a great platform and great opportunity. I think all of us are just really grateful because as I said it's just such a great platform, great opportunity.
Jordan: Yeah, you know, Disney are known for the amazing stories that they tell and throughout the series of The Evermoor Chronicles, we get to tell loads of fantastic stories with loads of really good characters, and sort of unique characters as well.
And finally, what's next for both of you? Any upcoming projects?
Georgie: No. None that I know of!
Jordan: I'm having a little bit of a break, relaxing and then my next job is an online series called Dixie and I've done two of those before so we're coming back for a third.
The Evermoor Chronicles premieres at 5.30pm on 9th November on Disney Channel.
