The dramatic moment that Jeremy Kyle gets pepper-sprayed during his time in Magaluf for The Kyle Files is to be shown tonight on ITV.
Filming an episode of his latest series at the Majorcan resort, he has a focus on the lives of young people who are affected by heavy drinking.
Following the incident, Jeremy with eyes streaming and a heavy cough is bundled by security into a car.
Speaking after the attack, Jeremy says: "Walking down the street I think somebody sprayed pepper spray - it's serious. Throat, eyes, coughing.
"We came here to talk about a drinking culture - lots of kids seemingly having fun. You get pepper spray sprayed in your face, just walking down the street. Okay, is that the camera? Is that because we're trying to find out what it's really like or does that happen every night if you get into an argument?"
Everything happened as Jeremy - part of a crowd - walked down the Magaluf strip in an attempt to find out what a Friday night was like for those frequenting the clubs and bars along it.
The episode also sees John Higgins speak out, whose 16-year-old son fell from a cliff to his death in Newquay after a night out drinking.
Returning to the town, John says: "Apparently the waiter first of all served them beer and they, having had a couple of beers, then chanced their arm ordering sambucas and were served. He was only 16.
"I mean coming back here will always be a little bit difficult. But it's nice meeting the people who have been so positive in trying to do something after Paddy died to make it work and to get it right."
The Kyle Files, ITV at 7.30pm tonight, Thursday January 22, 2015.
