ITV proved last night that you don't need a stellar A-list line-up for a great celebrity cast.

Most of their choices to go into the Australian jungle for this year's 'I'm A Celebrity' stint seem to have something about themselves and big personalities that are sure to clash before too long.

Moving with tradition, the campmates were again split into two separate groups which competed from the get-go in an island marathon after four had dived out of a helicopter, and their first bushtucker trial of the series.

Two of the celebs - Matthew Wright and Alfonso Ribeiro - were reduced to tears after just hours in the jungle because they're already finding it tougher than they imagined.

Lucy Pargeter and Kian Egan decided that after winning four out of five meals for their team in the trial, they'd concede the final dish for their opposing tribe, but Joey Essex still needed help in putting together a simple five-piece puzzle.

A massive storm hit the country which saw the stars pelted with marble-sized hailstones, and the first celebrities voted to take part in the 'Monday Night Takeaway' bushtucker trial were revealed to be Matthew Wright and Joey Essex.

'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' continues tonight on ITV at 9pm.
