Last night (October 30), the winner of the 2018 series of The Great British Bake Off was crowned, with Rahul taking home the commemorative winner's cake stand following a closely-fought battle against Ruby and Kim-Joy.

Celebrations took place across social media, as is usually the case when GBBO comes to a close, and some of them were so heartwarming they left us feeling all fuzzy inside.

And with that, another year of Great British Bake Off comes to a close! Don't worry though; we're sure more amateur bakers will be back in 2019, all vying it out for one of Paul Hollywood's famous handshakes, and their place in the GBBO Hall of Fame.
