After we were treated to an extended official trailer for the upcoming first season of Gotham, we've now been delivered with nine shots of characters from the series.

Ben Mckenzie as James Gordon

Based on some of the biggest names from the DC Comics universe, the new show is to look at Burce Wayne before he became Batman, and James Gordon's rise from every-day cop to well respected detective.

Jada Pinkett Smith is amongst the stars taking up a role in the series - coming to screens in America this Fall on FOX - and she's in good company.

Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot
