Netflix are set to premiere Russell Peter's much-anticipated 'Notorious' - a comedy special as well as brand new docu-series 'Russell Peters vs. The World' on Monday October 14.
The 70-minute stand-up performance was exclusively recorded for Netflix and will be available in all countries - including the UK - that have access to the television and movie portal.
A four-part series which comes alongside it follows the funnyman on his global 'Notorious' tour, catching his antics both on and off the road.
VP of Originals, Netflix Lisa Nishimura says, “Russell’s genius is his uncanny gift to identify the idiosyncratic within all of us.
“He is prolific, fresh and a global force that will resonate with our members around the world.”
On exactly why he chose to work with Netflix, Peters said, “I’ve always prided myself on being outside the box and slightly ahead of the curve, which is why Netflix is the perfect fit for me."
“Plus, I was discovered online - we both owe a lot to the internet.”
