101 Dalmatians are tracking the scent of romance!Disney will offer a chance of romance to lonely hearts and dog lovers on 26th February 2008 when it holds the UKs first ever organized dating event for singletons with dogs. The event marks the release of the enduring Walt Disney Classic 101 Dalmatians on Platinum Edition DVD, the tale of Pongo and Perdita, a pair of Dalmatians who meet in Regents Park and arrange for their owners to marry and start a family.Singles looking for romance simply need to bring their friendly fidos to the evening. And if the event doesnt sow the seeds of love amongst the owners, their dogs may have more luck. The idea of meeting your soulmate whilst walking the dog isnt just the stuff of films such as 101 Dalmatians. Celebrities such as Davina McCall and Ben Fogle both met their other halves thanks to their pooches. Many relationship experts consider it a great icebreaker for those people who are more reserved in their attempts of looking for love. The dating event with a doggy difference will be hosted at The Mucky Pup, one of Londons best dog-friendly pubs in Islington on Tuesday 26th February from 7pm. The event will follow the format of a speed dating event with each participant and their dog being given four minutes to vet potential partners. After the event you can log onto the SpeedDater website and contact dog owners youd like to see again. Participants between the ages of 25 and 45 are welcome, and must bring their canine companions (only well behaved ones, please).
