Idols Paula and Simon an old married couple Yes its true... the stunning American Idol Judge admitted as much during an interview with Celebs On SundayWhile Paula gets on with her co-judge better when hes not behind the judging table, Paula Abdul can still stump up a long list of complaints when it comes to Simon Cowell. 'Were an old married couple,' Paula said. 'God, that is just a wretched thought, but its true.' And playing the beleagured wife role to perfection, Paula produced an endless list of grievances to share about her 'American Idol' counterpart. First up Paula revealled what caused her to 'rise' - 'Its always something that stems from his arrogance. Its the way he tells the kids, Oh you shouldnt let nerves get the better of you. Hes never been on stage; hes never ever done what they do. And then he starts giving them advice on choreography, which is when I get really mad.' bemoaned the feel good judge.Married couple annoyances aside, Paula still has a lot of time for Simon in her private time, telling the show. 'We sometimes do weekends and, of course, hell call the paparazzi to make sure therell be a whole bunch of photographers there when we do.' According to Paula, Simon pretends to be bothered by all the lens attention, 'but he wants to make sure everyone knows how popular he is.'
And Simon's take on it all well the acid tongued judge thinks hes pretty popular with his co-judge, too, as Paula explained 'Hell always say, Paula, you know you want me, and Ill play along with it.' But she assured Celebs on Sunday, 'Somehow Ive managed to resist the temptation so far. Its been hard, but Ive managed to not go there ..' but for how long?
